I took my two sewing machines to be fixed last week, the fancy smancy Bernina is ready to go but the old trusty Riccar has bit the dust, (yes it's sad and I'm bringing it home for burial) so I'm in the market for another usable machine. I think it's time to hit a few garage sales!!!

Amazon.com still carries the Brother CS6000i like mine. I love that little machine. I've pieced a whole quilt on it since my Pfaff jumped out of time. I'll take it in to be fixed but it has a couple other problems as well, so it's showing it's age. I'm considering getting a new Pfaff 2056. It was top of the line about five yrs. ago and there are several on eBay for about half of what they originally sold for...new ones in the box.
